A Legacy of Engineering Excellence
The LeROI name traces back to the early 1900s. Originally part of Rotary Compression Technologies (RCT), we built a reputation for designing and manufacturing high-performance rotary screw compressors for the air and gas markets. Over the decades, we’ve refined our processes, advanced our technology, and reinforced our position as a trusted industry leader.
By the late 1990s, our innovations in rotary screw design were setting new standards in markets previously dominated by reciprocating compressors. This success was recognized globally, leading to acquisitions, expansions, and the formation of strategic partnerships that kept LeROI on the cutting edge.
In 2005, a group of local Ohio investors brought the company back to its roots, keeping operations in Sidney under the LeROI Gas Compressors brand. This move helped focus our efforts entirely on gas compression, allowing us to fine-tune our technology to meet the real-world needs of energy producers and processors.
